Arana Steel has been a family owned company for the past 40 years, strongly committed to its excellence in the heavy structural steel, building and construction industry. Arana Steel has employed a group of 30 full time employees that are dynamic and highly skilled personnel to carry out the day to day operations of running a successful company.

In April 2009, MSB Welding Contractors Aust bought out Arana Steel. The two companies merged creating MSB/Arana.

MSB/Arana operates in a niche market with its business emphasis based on diversity in the metal engineering industry and as a service provider for the QLD market.

MSB Welding Contractors started off with one man and a truck; targeting the specialized welding sector that eventually went into heavy earth work repairs and line boring along the way expanding into a number of different areas which include;

*             Site installation of steel work in the building and construction industry

*             Maintenance, repairs and installation of mechanical machinery

*             Manufacturing for construction of bridges, marine and rail

*             In house prequalified weld testing and NDT testing

*             Machining and fitting

Since the beginning, MSB Welding Contractors have expanded their horizons with the merge of the two companies. MSB/Arana prides itself on the commitment to each and every client to give them the best possible product and service as possible from the very beginning to the end. Liaising with clients all the way through the project, with an up to date profile on how each job is going. Since the acquisition of MSB/Arana we will continue to stay focused and have a strong steady growth with a wealth of knowledge and a dedicated team for now and the future.
